In his downtime, he enjoys cooking, video games, Netflix, watching horror movies, and drinking and brewing craft beer. He is a craft beer snob, he even has a special Instagram account solely dedicated to his beer drinking adventures, TheBrewBrotha.

Background: After graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in Journalism, and also writing for the local SBCC newspaper, she was inspired by her father, who has been behind the lens for over 50 years, to start Just A Girl From L.A Photography. Her parents were also avid travelers, which led her to obtaining her first passport at 5 months of age.

Animal rescue and nature conservation is a passion of hers, as her house was often known by friends as “The Zoo”.  An avid foodie and cook like her mother, a successful Italian restaurateur in Los Angeles, she loves trying cuisines from around the globe. In her free time she loves to horseback ride, hiking, and gardening.

  3. I guess I should have read the about segment first! Shannon, I grew up in Lutcher, LA about 30 miles West of NOLA. Funny we never got around to that in our conversation in Austin. Where did you go to school? I’m an avid high school football fan, I’m sure I know the school. Anyway, it’s good to see somebody from the old home state doing well.

  4. Love how you’re able to turn your passion into a career & so glad it’s working for you. After living in Tokyo & working throughout Asia, plus 3 cities/week in the US when I came home, I too consider myself a global gypsy … but haven’t turned that into a business. I’m envious though & maybe someday …
